Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable infrastructure, APIs, microservices, and data systems that integrate into live products.
  • Experiment and ship generative AI tools, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and autonomous agents.
  • Think holistically across model work, backend engineering, and systems design.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and founders to bring new AI-powered ventures to life.

Requirements:

  • Strong programming background in Python or similar languages, with deep comfort in software engineering best practices.
  • Experience with machine learning/AI frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.
  • Knowledge of data engineering, databases (SQL/NoSQL), vector DBs like Pinecone/Weaviate, and cloud storage.
  • Familiarity with MLOps and deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with retrieval systems, embeddings, and RAG pipelines.
  • A builder's mindset, comfortable taking ownership from zero-to-one.
  • Interest in generative agents, conversational AI, or recommendation engines.
  • Previous work in startups or venture studios.
