About the Role

We are seeking a skilled data engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in cloud-based data engineering along with hands-on experience in building, optimizing, and maintaining robust data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT processes to support data processing and reporting.
  • Perform data modeling, database design, and query performance tuning.
  • Manage data workflows between on-premise systems and cloud platforms.
  • Ensure high performance, availability, and reliability of data solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data pipelines.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for processes and technical solutions.
  • Adhere to best practices for data security, compliance, and governance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong experience in SQL Server development (T-SQL, indexing, query optimization).
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building data pipelines.
  • Proficient in ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data transformation.
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts, data quality, and error handling.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Azure Synapse Analytics or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, or Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Power BI or SSRS reporting tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the software industry.
  • B.Tech/M.Tech in CS/IT, or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
