About the RoleCandidates with a strong background in physical design and experience working with mainstream P&R tools are necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Developing and implementing physical design flows and methodologies for placement, CTS, and routing.
- Providing technical support and training to customers on complex designs.
- Solving customer problems related to performance, area, and power targets.
- Place and route flow expertise, including placement guidelines, clock-tree synthesis, routing, and timing optimizations.
- Experience with hierarchical designs, low-power implementation, synthesis, and RTL/implementation designer interactions.
- Floor plan design expertise, including placement of hard macros, padring, power grid, and custom analog routes.
- Static timing analysis skills, including constraint development, parasitic extractions, and sign-off requirements.
- Knowledge of physical verification (DRC/LVS/DFM and chip finishing).
