About the Job

We are seeking an experienced data professional to lead the design, build, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance data solutions using cloud-based technologies.
  • Benchmark and optimize data processing workflows for improved performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure, and scalable data solutions.
  • Implement data governance practices to ensure data quality and consistency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expert-level experience with Azure Data Services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for complex transformations and performance tuning.
  • Advanced Python skills for data pipeline development and orchestration.
  • Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools for Azure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mastery of cloud computing principles and architecture.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Data Engineer Requirements

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent.
  • Experience with Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, or MLflow is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GCP or AWS is a bonus.
