BI Developer Position

As a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining complex data models and creating powerful dashboards and reports.

Our ideal candidate has experience working with Looker and LookML, and is proficient in SQL and data modeling principles.

The role involves working closely with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.

You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all Looker deliverables.

Bonus: Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI would be an advantage.

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days spent working from the office at BHive Premium Campus and the remaining days remote/flexible as per project schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust data models using LookML.
  • Develop and maintain interactive Looker dashboards and reports.
  • Connect to various data sources and define relationships and data transformations within LookML.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize LookML code and Looker queries for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all Looker deliverables.
  • Assist in sales analytics, lead tracking, or project reporting as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying BI solutions with Looker and LookML.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to self-manage tasks effectively.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking startup environment.
