Job Title: Senior Associate- Fund Accounting

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing daily cash reporting, reconciling movements in capacity and loan balances, and reviewing short-term forecasts.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of fund accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. They will be able to work independently, prioritize a large workload, and demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn.

The role requires the following key responsibilities:

  • Prepare Daily Cash Reporting: Collaborate with administrators, banking providers, and internal forecasts to ensure accurate and timely cash reporting for active private equity secondaries funds.
  • Reconcile Movements: Reconcile movements in capacity, loan balances, and forecast capacity to prior day reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Cash Management Proposals: Review cash management proposals from administrators for internal cash movements within the fund structures, working closely with the Treasury team to agree on proposals.
  • Loan Instructions and FX: Prepare loan instructions and FX instructions to send to administrators and other 3rd party service providers.

Key Skills Required:

  • A postgraduate qualification such as CFA, CA, MBA, CCRA, CIIA, or CAIA is preferred.
  • At least 9 years of experience in fund accounting is required.
  • Managing and/or leading employees for 2-3 years is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Word and MS Excel, is mandatory.
