Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description:

As a seasoned electrical design engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing mechanical structures and enclosures that integrate seamlessly with electrical systems. Your expertise in switchgear/switchboard design will be crucial in ensuring compliance with UL, CSA, and IEC standards.

The ideal candidate must possess pure switchgear knowledge and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include creating detailed designs for enclosures, busbar supports, frames, and layouts for switchgear/switchboards, as well as developing 2D/3D CAD models, fabrication drawings, and BOMs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in switchgear/switchboard design, including UL-compliant design, IP/NEMA ratings, CSA and IEC standards, thermal management, and safety requirements.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
