Job Description

As a skilled Sports Content Editor, you will be responsible for refining and elevating the quality of content published by our team. Your expertise in storytelling, coupled with your passion for sports, will enable you to craft engaging articles that resonate with readers.

You will work closely with a talented team of writers, editors, and content managers in our fast-paced newsroom to refine and polish content. Your ability to analyze article performance metrics and use insights to elevate content quality will be invaluable in ensuring our audience receives high-quality stories.

With a deep understanding of our audience, you will fine-tune content to enhance its impact and relevance. Your role as a mentor will inspire and empower writers, helping them grow and evolve as contributors to the team.

Timeliness is key, so staying on top of breaking news will ensure our readers are always up-to-date as events unfold.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Media/Journalism, or similar discipline.
  • At least 6-12 months of experience in sports content editing, proofreading, or any other similar role.
  • A strong command of the English language and an understanding of American culture.
  • The ability to bring energy and creativity to our articles, ensuring each piece resonates with readers.
  • Leadership skills to inspire, guide, and mentor a team of talented writers.
