SOA/OSB Specialist Role

We are looking for an experienced specialist in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Oracle Service Bus (OSB) to join our team.

The role involves designing, developing, and testing SOA composites and OSB services. This includes creating service interfaces, integrating various systems through adapters, and ensuring robust error handling and transaction management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Service Design and Development: Design, build, and test SOA composites (BPEL, Mediator) and OSB services.
  • Adapter Configuration: Configure and manage adapters (DB, JMS, FTP, REST/SOAP, HTTP) for system integrations.
  • Error Handling and Management: Implement error handling, retry policies, and transaction management in services.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform unit and integration testing for developed services.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain documentation (services, configurations, deployment guides) and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7–8 years of proven experience in SOA and OSB development.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
  • Hands-on experience with BPEL, Mediator, and integration patterns.
  • Proficiency in configuring DB, JMS, FTP, REST/SOAP, HTTP adapters.
  • Experience in fault handling, error management, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of SOA principles, best practices, and design patterns.
  • Ability to independently perform unit testing and integration testing.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
