Product Development Engineer Role Overview:
  1. This role involves hands-on experience in sourcing and developing components within the mechanical, electronics, mechatronics, or electric vehicle (EV) sector. It requires collaborating with suppliers to refine products for manufacturability and contributing to our growing portfolio with a focus on future-ready mobility solutions.
  2. The ideal candidate has experience in designing and developing automotive interiors or accessories.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and prototype wheelchair frames, drive modules, and ergonomic components.
  • Assist in gathering insights on market needs and consumer trends to inform product development.
  • Engineer lightweight, robust load-bearing structures using finite element analysis.
  • Integrate motors, batteries, and control systems with structural design.
  • Collaborate with vendors for precision fabrication and quality delivery.
  • Conduct testing for durability, safety, and compliance.
  • Optimize materials and processes for cost, weight, and performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of product specifications, changes, and manufacturing processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 2–4 years' experience in product development (mobility, automotive, or structural products).
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping.
  • Exposure to EV/mechatronic systems is a plus.
