Job Title: Statutory Audit Professional

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced statutory audit professional to join our team. As a Statutory Audit specialist, you will be responsible for leading audits and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing comprehensive audit plans addressing scope, objectives, resource allocation, and reporting deadlines
  • Successfully executing assigned audits, meeting all objectives, conducting regular meetings with clients and stakeholders as required, monitoring progress, reviewing work papers, and ensuring they provide adequate support for conclusions while adhering to internal documentation standards
  • Optimizing audit assignments for improved efficiency, managing resources in relation to time and budget, actively documenting findings and issues, and performing closure procedures
  • Gathering and compiling information and data
  • Maintaining strong relationships across all levels of the organization, providing recommendations for enhancing controls
  • Able to handle ambiguity and constant change, working independently
  • Having a solid understanding of INDAS and the Companies Act
  • Thinking conceptually, visualizing different scenarios, and making decisions based on analysis and logical reasoning

Requirements:

  • Semi-qualified CA with experience in Statutory Audit during Articleship
  • Proficient knowledge of statutory audit procedures and standards
  • Strong expertise in IGAAP, IND AS, and its practical application
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report-writing skills
