Job Title: Cybersecurity Operations Center Specialist

A Cybersecurity Operations Center Analyst is a highly skilled professional responsible for protecting an organization's IT infrastructure from security threats.

They serve as the first line of defense against cyberattacks, utilizing their expertise to identify, analyze, and mitigate security incidents. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective incident response, threat hunting, and risk management strategies are in place.

About the Role:
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry-leading security methodologies and standards.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security controls to protect client data and systems.
  • Analyze and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and other security-related data to identify potential threats.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance security measures.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in an auditing or consulting role.
  • Proficiency in security frameworks, regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 1, SOC 2, HIPAA).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex security concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
  • Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, Firewalls, Encryption).
