Job Opportunity

A skilled Mechanical Millwork Designer is required to create detailed designs and plans for custom millwork projects. This role involves combining technical knowledge, artistic flair, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing mechanical millwork projects, including casework, cabinetry joinery techniques, and custom woodwork.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop detailed and accurate mechanical millwork designs.
  • Creating 3D models and generating 2D drawings using CAD software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Conducting site visits to gather information needed for design development.
  • Preparing material and hardware selection and producing accurate bills of materials.
  • Optimizing designs for functionality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to project requirements.
  • Creating production documents, including shop drawings, fabrication plans, and installation instructions.
  • Reviewing and modifying designs based on feedback from team members, clients, and quality control inspections.
  • Collaborating with the production team to address design-related issues during fabrication and installation.
  • Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new materials to enhance design capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to work on architectural and furniture drawings.
