Subsea Engineering Professional

The role of Subsea Systems Engineer is to provide engineering expertise, oversight, and support to Production & Operations (P&O) Projects within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver subsea systems project scope in alignment with project schedule, ensuring safe, reliable, and competitive solutions are achieved.
  • Ensure timely delivery of specific engineering activities and oversee key subsea system engineering deliverables throughout the project lifecycle and handover to operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, Contractors, hardware suppliers, and other engineering teams to ensure integrated designs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in oil and gas subsea engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of subsea systems design engineering in Major Capital projects.
  • Proven expertise in Subsea Systems Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of Subsea design codes, methodologies, and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Piping, hoses, and tubing selection and installation.
  • Pipeline equipment selection and design.
  • Pressure systems regulations and compliance.
  • Stress analysis for integrity and leakage prevention.
  • Valve selection for isolation purposes.
