Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Homologation Professional to lead the homologation process for retrofit emission control devices and automotive products. The ideal candidate will drive all homologation-related activities, both technical and non-technical, leading a team of professionals and ensuring successful completion of type-approval and certification projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic homologation plans and roadmaps for retrofit emission control devices and automotive products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with test agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the homologation team, ensuring effective strategy execution and meeting timelines.
  • Monitor and report on the homologation process, including risks and issues, to senior management.
  • Prioritize and manage resources effectively to achieve project goals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and teamwork across engineering teams.
  • Work in ambiguous environments while maintaining team focus and motivation.
  • Manage external homologation partners and provide guidance on regulatory requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in homologation, certification, or regulatory compliance, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience working with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and homologation partners.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
