Medical Billing Specialist

AccuDoc InfoTech Pvt Ltd is a leading provider of healthcare technology and revenue cycle management solutions. As we continue to grow, we are seeking skilled Medical Billing Specialists to join our team.

As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all billing regulations and laws. This includes verifying patient insurance eligibility and benefits, accurately processing and submitting medical claims to insurance providers, and following up on unpaid claims via phone calls and resolving denied or rejected claims.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with all billing regulations and laws
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Accurately process and submit medical claims to insurance providers
  • Follow up on unpaid claims via phone calls and resolve denied or rejected claims
  • Post payments from insurance portals and scanned documents
  • Collaborate virtually with internal teams to ensure smooth billing operations

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding (e.g., CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS)
  • Experience in US medical billing preferred (but not mandatory)
  • Experience with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in billing Microsoft Office tools
