Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Node.js developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with designing and developing scalable Node.js applications, optimizing for performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance Node.js applications with strong backend development skills.
- Optimize applications for event loop efficiency, memory usage, and throughput.
- Implement logging, metrics, and tracing best practices within Node.js services.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure applications are fully observable.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Node.js internals, including the event loop, async programming, promises, streams, and garbage collection. They will also stay up-to-date with the latest Node.js ecosystem updates and performance tuning techniques.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of hands-on Node.js development experience (Express, Koa, NestJS, Fastify, or similar).
- Deep understanding of Node.js internals.
- Experience with debugging and profiling Node.js apps.
- Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript coding and testing.
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools.
- Knowledge of database drivers and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and their performance implications.
