Oracle Retail Technical Consultant Job Description

We are looking for an experienced technical professional to join our team as an Oracle Retail Technical Consultant. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Oracle Retail integrations and PL/SQL development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining technical integrations across Oracle Retail applications and external systems. This includes working with Oracle Retail MFCS and integrating with boundary applications using file-based, API, and middleware-based patterns.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality technical integrations across Oracle Retail applications and external systems.
  • Work closely with functional consultants, architects, and middleware teams to build seamless and scalable interfaces.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient PL/SQL code and Oracle Retail configurations.
  • Support UAT, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide post-go-live support.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience in PL/SQL programming and performance tuning.
  • In-depth understanding of Oracle Retail data flow and technical architecture.
  • Proven experience in integrating Oracle Retail modules using file-based, RFI, API-based, and middleware-based integrations.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Retail modules like MFCS, RMS, RPM, ReIM, Allocation, etc.
  • Familiarity with integration middleware tools (OIC, MuleSoft, etc.) is a plus.
  • Good to have experience with Oracle APEX for application development or dashboards.
  • Exposure to Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting is desirable.
