Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our organization in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and a proven track record of delivering scalable and secure backend solutions using SFCC, Java microservices, and related technologies.

This is a hybrid role requiring the candidate to work from our Gurugram office with a focus on developing and maintaining backend functionalities for e-commerce platforms built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend functionalities for e-commerce platforms built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
  • Work with SFRA, Pipelines, Controllers, ISML templates, and OCAPI to build scalable and secure backend solutions
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems
  • Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to technical documentation
  • Lead and mentor junior developers as needed
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and implement optimizations

Technical Skills Required:

  • Mandatory:

    · OCAPI (Shop & Data APIs)
    · Java / J2EE
    · Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate
    · Git, Jenkins
  • Desirable:
    · HTML5, JavaScript, Node.js, AJAX
    · Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB
    · Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
    · Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, including 3+ years specifically on SFCC
  • Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
  • Able to join immediately or within a short notice period
  • Willing to work 34 days a week from our Gurugram office
