Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data warehousing concepts, Teradata SQL, and ETL development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.\
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation, with a focus on Teradata.\
  • Apply best practices of data warehousing concepts, including star/snowflake schemas, slowly changing dimensions (SCD), and the design of fact and dimension tables.\
  • Perform data quality validation, profiling, and reconciliation to ensure the integrity and reliability of data.\
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL jobs and data flow.\
  • Utilize Python or Shell scripting in a Unix/Linux environment to automate processes and enhance ETL workflows.\

    • 4-6 years of experience in IBM DataStage ETL development.\
    • Strong SQL skills, with hands-on experience in Teradata preferred.\
    • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schema, SCD, fact/dimension tables).\
    • Proficiency in Python/Shell scripting and experience with the Unix/Linux operating system.\
    • Experience in data validation, profiling, and reconciliation.\
    • Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow or DataStage Job Sequencer.\
    • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.\
