Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Containerization Expert to lead our engineering team's migration to cloud-native environments. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of containerization, orchestration, and DevOps principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement enterprise-grade AKS clusters with multi-environment strategies (dev, staging, production)
  • Migrate legacy applications to containerized workloads on AKS
  • Develop and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes application packaging and deployments
  • Create comprehensive CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins
  • Implement advanced AKS features including pod identity, cluster autoscaler, and virtual nodes
  • Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for containerized workloads
  • Automate operational tasks including backup strategies, patch management, and capacity planning
  • Implement comprehensive security frameworks including Pod Security Standards, network policies, and admission controllers
  • Mentor DevOps engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in DevOps/AKS with strong focus on containerization and orchestration
  • Expert-level proficiency in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes ecosystem
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM templates)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub)
  • Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, containerd, CRI-O)
  • Proficient in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Go)
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native design patterns
