Embedded Linux Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Linux Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and maintaining Yocto-based Embedded Linux distributions.

This role involves designing, implementing, and customizing Board Support Packages (BSPs) for target hardware. You will work on the Linux kernel, bootloaders, and device drivers to optimize system performance, boot time, and memory usage.

You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining secure boot and update mechanisms, collaborating with hardware and application teams for system integration, and providing debugging and root cause analysis for system-level issues.

Requirements
  • A strong background in Embedded Linux BSP development is required.
  • At least one year of hands-on experience with the Yocto Project is necessary.
  • Solid knowledge of the Linux kernel, bootloaders (U-Boot, etc.), and device drivers is essential.
  • Proficiency in C programming and cross-compilation toolchains is required.
  • A strong understanding of embedded hardware architectures is needed.
  • Experience with build systems, version control (Git), and debugging tools is desirable.
