Lead Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring and performing scheduled maintenance activities, attending breakdowns, and ensuring internal customer satisfaction.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong understanding of API manufacturing plant operations. You will work closely with our operations team to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance Activities: Monitor and track preventive maintenance through SAP, earthing maintenance, alarm verification, and attend all types of breakdowns related to process and utility equipment.
- OPEX Control and Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of diesel and electrical spare parts, manage inventory, and prepare BOQ for projects.
- Audit Support: Coordinate and face audits from the electrical department, including regulatory, statutory, and safety audits.
- Qualifications and Equipment Analysis: Prepare IQ, OQ, and PQ qualifications of equipment and analyze parameters such as power consumption and utility reports.
- Procurement and Logistics: Raise indents for electrical spares and consumables, prepare returnable and non-returnable gate passes, and maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4-6 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in API manufacturing plant operations.
