The purpose of a Resiliency Engineer is to develop and implement strategies for ensuring the reliability and stability of complex systems.

This involves creating, executing, and maintaining testing plans, scripts, and scenarios that validate fault tolerance, system recovery, and high availability.

Responsibilities include developing stress, load, chaos, and failure testing to simulate real-world disruptions and uncover vulnerabilities.

Test results are analyzed to provide actionable insights and risk assessments to stakeholders.

Root cause analysis on test failures will be conducted, and improvements in design or operations will be recommended in collaboration with teams.

Mandatory Skills:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, QA, or systems engineering with a focus on resiliency testing.
  • In-depth understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Apache JMeter and Rational Performance Tester.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python and Java.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
