Agricultural Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Agricultural Specialist in our local team.

• This position involves assisting with land preparation, planting, crop maintenance, pest disease management, irrigation, and harvesting activities under the guidance of experienced professionals.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining crop health, including pest and disease control.
• They will also support fertilizer application and irrigation activities, carry out pruning, weeding, and harvesting tasks, maintain records of field operations, and report progress to supervisors.
• Additionally, they will ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

• A diploma certificate in agriculture, agronomy, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Previous experience in plantation or farm operations, particularly in oil palm, corn, rice, pepper, etc., is an advantage.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, be able to work in agricultural settings, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Teamwork and a willingness to learn and grow with the project are essential qualities for this role.
