About the Role

The Lending Solutions Service Management team at S&P Global is seeking an experienced Platform Engineering Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing standards in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for software solutions.

You will work closely with Development and Architecture teams to automate and streamline infrastructure deployment, develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems, and troubleshoot and resolve root cause issues in dev, test, and production environments.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, including AWS, and collaborate with global team members to drive innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement IaC standards for software solutions
  • Automate and streamline infrastructure deployment using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure production environment health and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve root cause issues in dev, test, and production environments

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience building enterprise DevOps pipelines in a commercial environment
  • Experience with Git, scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, JavaScript), and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services, including EKS, HELM, Flux, Fargate, S3, Lambda, VPC, Route 53, RDS, EC2, Load Balancing, CloudWatch, and CloudFront
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience working with global teams
