Design Associate

A creative professional will be responsible for understanding client requirements and specifications through calls or meetings. They will need to comprehend all workflow modules and technical specifications in the KWS category.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed plans, including wall-to-wall elevations, on AutoCAD for kitchens, wardrobes, and storage areas.
  • Create EPT and granite detailings for kitchen, wardrobe, and storage areas.
  • Develop a Bill of Quantities (BOQ) using the Design tool.
  • Coordinate and annotate designs according to the BOQ.
  • Use standard drawing templates as specified by the central team.
  • Understand changes and errors pointed out by the validation team and incorporate them into the design docket.
  • Adhere to SLA and quality standards.
  • Attend training sessions for new module introductions by the category team and stay updated.

Requirements:
  • Strong AutoCAD skills are mandatory.
  • Diploma or degree in architecture or interior design is desirable.
  • Experience: 1-6 years.
  • Previous experience as a kitchen designer or design associate or in a similar role.
  • Experience in turnkey residential interiors.
  • Knowledge or experience in preparing false ceiling or reflected ceiling plan layouts.
  • Knowledge or experience in preparation of carpentry storage drawings.
  • Knowledge or experience in preparation of electrical drawings.
  • Quick learner with attention to detail and strong team player skills.
