About the Role
A Senior Software Architect is required to lead and mentor a Scrum team in maintaining multiple microservices foundational to Data for Fusion 360. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial cloud services and applications, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS). They should be well-versed in Java programming language, object-oriented design principles, Spring, and Jersey.

Responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring a Scrum team that maintains multiple microservices foundational to the Data for Fusion 360
- Troubleshooting and resolving complicated technical issues, providing guidance and solutions to the team
- Designing and implementing high-quality, clean, and efficient code following best practices and development guidelines
- Proactively evaluating and addressing issues related to performance, stability, scalability, and extensibility of the systems

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with commercial cloud services and applications
- Strong understanding of Java programming language, object-oriented design principles, Spring, and Jersey
- Extensive experience in developing and maintaining large-scale microservices with a strong understanding of caching (preferably Redis), distributed tracing, eventing (preferably Kinesis), and scaling techniques
