About the Role

This is a critical role that will play a key part in implementing and maintaining our master data management strategy. The Data Governance Specialist will work closely with IT and business teams to identify match-merge and data quality rules, facilitate data remediation for Supplier master data, and collaborate on integrating master data across different systems and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Governance: Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Data Quality Management: Identify and resolve data quality issues by working closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Data Integration: Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate master data across different systems and platforms.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide insights to support business decisions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong strategic planning and project management abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
