Aerial Mapping Specialist Opportunity

Job Description:

As an Aerial Mapping Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting a government project in the energy sector. As part of our field operations team, you will be responsible for operating AI-powered drones to capture high-quality aerial data of electrical infrastructure such as poles, transformers, and other assets. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate digital mapping and inspection, contributing to the development and efficiency of the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate drones to capture images/videos of assigned infrastructure with precision and accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records of captured data and ensure timely submission of files.
  • Carefully maintain drones, batteries, and related equipment in proper working condition to prevent technical issues.
  • Collaborate with field teams to identify areas requiring drone mapping, providing expert recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Drone Pilot or knowledge of drone handling is essential.
  • A valid drone flying license/Remote Pilot Certificate (if required by regulations) is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with drone hardware, batteries, and basic troubleshooting techniques is necessary.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to capture clear, precise images are crucial.
  • Ability to work in field locations and travel as per project needs is required.
  • You should be comfortable using and handling computer systems (laptops).
