Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team at Wipro. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions for VMware infrastructure using Ansible.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with configuration management, provisioning, and deployment of virtual machines, templates, and resources within VMware environments. They should also have expertise in managing security aspects in Ansible and knowledge of creating/ modifying Ansible modules.

We require the candidate to have proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash, as well as strong knowledge of networking, storage, and security in virtualized environments. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker is preferred.

Able to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams, the selected candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of cloud APIs for integration and automation.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement automation solutions for VMware infrastructure using Ansible
* Automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployment of virtual machines, templates, and resources within VMware environments
* Manage security aspects in Ansible and create/modifying Ansible modules
* Develop scripts and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash

Requirements

Salary Estimate

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
