Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our data engineering team in designing and implementing cutting-edge data architectures that meet business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data technologies, including Hadoop and Spark, as well as experience with NoSQL databases and data modeling tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines to ingest data from multiple sources within the organization and external providers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to source data and make it available for downstream consumption.
  • Work with the team to develop effective solution designs that meet business needs.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot large-scale data processing jobs to ensure optimal performance.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases and experience with Cosmos DB is a plus.
  • Expertise in data modeling, data mapping, and ETL processing tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
  • Azure Databricks and cloud infrastructure expertise is highly desirable.
