Job Title:

Senior Product Development Manager

About the Role:
  • This is a senior-level position that oversees the entire merchandising and marketing process.
  • The successful candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in merchandising and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. To develop and manage buyer accounts, ensuring strong relationships are built and maintained.
  2. Procurement of orders and following through with them until payment receipt.
  3. Provide inputs to design teams for collections.
  4. Tap into personal contacts and current buyers for orders at the best possible price.
  5. Maintain regular visits to factories and communicate with buyers about new market trends.
  6. Keep the office updated on changing market trends.
  7. Maintain a pulse on buyers' buying patterns and financial conditions.
  8. Be able to give tentative spot costing during buyer meetings.
  9. Coordinate with production, dispatch, and quality departments.
  10. Remain up-to-date with industry's best practices.
  11. Must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and be highly organized.
