3D Artist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled 3D artist to create high-quality characters, props, and environmental assets for our game. The successful candidate will work closely with the art team to ensure that all assets meet the game's artistic vision while optimizing them for performance in Unreal Engine 5.

Main Responsibilities
  • Modeling and Texturing: Create detailed 3D models and textures for characters, props, and environmental assets.
  • PBR Workflow Optimization: Ensure that all assets follow PBR (Physically Based Rendering) workflows and are optimized for real-time use.
  • Asset Integration and Refining: Work with Unreal Engine 5 to integrate and refine assets, ensuring seamless gameplay experience.
  • Collaboration and Consistency: Collaborate with the art team to maintain a consistent visual style throughout the game.
  • Feedback and Iteration: Iterate based on feedback from the Creative Director to ensure that all assets meet the highest standards of quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Proficiency in Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and UE5. Experience with these tools is essential for creating high-quality 3D assets.
  • 1+ years of experience in game development, preferably with a focus on 3D modeling, texturing, and lighting.
  • Skills in 3D Modeling, PBR workflow, topology optimization, UV unwrapping. Knowledge of these concepts will help you create realistic and detailed 3D assets.
  • Bonus skills in Rigging, Animation, and Procedural Modeling (Houdini/Unreal). These skills will give you an edge in creating complex animations and procedural content.
