Software Engineer Position

Overview

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to build, scale and maintain our portfolio of enterprise healthcare applications using Laravel and the TALL stack.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop robust, scalable Laravel applications with clean and maintainable codebases.
  • Lead implementation of custom components and interactive dashboards.
  • Collaborate on frontend development using Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS for responsive and accessible UIs.
  • Write efficient, testable and reusable code following modern Laravel best practices.
  • Integrate APIs and manage data flows across internal and external systems.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability and security.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical planning and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience building applications with Laravel.
  • Proven expertise in the TALL stack including FilamentPHP, Livewire, Alpine.js, Tailwind CSS.
  • Strong understanding of modern PHP, Laravel architecture, Eloquent ORM, queues, jobs and service providers.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
  • Solid understanding of database design PostgreSQL experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working with Git CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Inertia.js or Vue.
  • Familiarity with automated testing using Pest or PHPUnit.
  • Contributions to open-source Laravel packages or community involvement.
