Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with popular testing tools, Agile environments, and be comfortable working with cross-functional teams.

  • Validate backend services using manual and automated testing methods.
  • Automate API testing for faster regression and continuous validation.
  • Design and document test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve bugs logged, tracked, and managed using JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Build and manage test automation pipelines within CI/CD workflows.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using primary IDEs like Visual Studio or VS Code.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Ensure complete test coverage through smoke, sanity, regression, and integration testing.
  • Provide detailed test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in API testing (manual and automated).
  • Experience with test management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in rotational shifts and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
