About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records, statements, and reports for accuracy and completeness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify variances and trends.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide support for external audits and tax filings.
• Contribute to the development of internal control procedures.
• Participate in financial data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.
• Utilize accounting software to manage and organize financial data.
• Communicate financial information to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Execute ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Sound knowledge of budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Awareness of industry trends and best practices in accounting.
