Job Title:

Cloud Security Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security and experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures
  • Develop and maintain cloud security policies and procedures
  • Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

  • 6+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or security operations
  • At least 2 years of experience in a security-focused cloud role
  • Working knowledge of cloud-native security controls across AWS, Azure, or GCP (IAM, encryption, VPC/networking, storage policies)
  • Hands-on experience triaging and remediating security misconfigurations using runbooks or platform-guided steps
  • Familiarity with common cloud vulnerabilities, misconfig patterns, and incident tagging or classification approaches
  • Ability to write or modify scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) to support patching, tagging, or enforcement automation
  • Experience working in Agile sprints, contributing to structured backlogs, standups, and retrospectives
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills to track remediated issues, exceptions, and patch histories
Specialized Skills (Desirable):

While not mandatory, the following specialized skills are beneficial:

  • Exposure to platforms like Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or Defender for Cloud
  • Basic familiarity with tools like Cloud Custodian, AWS SCPs, Azure Policy, GCP Org Policies
  • Experience with automated remediation pipelines or trigger-based scripts
  • Understanding of tagging frameworks for scoping vulnerabilities and enforcing controls
  • Security certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or GCP Security Engineer (optional but preferred)
