Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled Software Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test suites using modern frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable automated test suites using Playwright (or similar modern frameworks).
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with business requirements.
  • Build reusable test frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient, reliable deployments.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, and collaborate with engineering to drive resolution.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing efforts.
  • Conduct performance testing, regression testing, and cross-browser testing to validate application quality across platforms.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of total experience in software testing, with 3+ years specifically in test automation using Playwright or equivalent frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, including experience writing test scripts for browser automation.
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs and experience using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar for API testing.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative workflows.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
  • Solid grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies and comfort working in fast-paced iterative environments.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
