Job Summary:

We are seeking an analytical, results-driven back-end developer who will collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and enhance current back-end applications and processes.

The ideal candidate will possess the necessary experience, skills and passion to drive the optimization roadmap of our entire tech architecture.

Responsibilities:

  1. Compile and analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design cohesive code to enhance the user experience.
  3. Develop innovative ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
  4. Record data and report it to relevant parties, such as clients or leadership.
  5. Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
  6. Take lead on projects, as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with primary expertise in Ruby on Rails and familiarity with JavaScript front-end technologies.
  • Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
  • Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or with a group.
