Key Roles and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications for our Charging infrastructure.

  • They will work closely with Firmware teams to design, develop, and maintain software applications.
  • Improving existing functionality while building Designs/Proofs of Concept for future systems is a key part of this role.
  • Collaboration with Product Managers, Cloud, and Backend teams is necessary for planning and implementing new features and solutioning architecture for future products.
  • Management of release cycles for assigned modules and prioritization of development activities is also required.
  • This individual will serve as the point of contact for Firmware teams regarding cloud dependencies.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Electronics or equivalent with 5-8 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Golang/C, C++, and Python is highly desirable.
  • Multithreaded & Multiprocessing application development experience is crucial.
  • Knowledge of IPCs like dbus, grpc is essential.
  • Experience with Android platform and ability to customize libraries is necessary.
  • Software communication protocols such as gRPC / CAN / I2C are an advantage.
  • Good understanding of system fundamentals in Linux/Android is vital.
  • Experience with system-level languages like C, C++, Python, GO is highly valued.
  • Embedded systems experience spanning OS and non-OS environments is required.
  • IoT experience is mandatory, having worked with cloud service providers like GoogleCloud is beneficial.
  • Experience using logic and protocol analyzers is preferred.
  • Product development life cycle experience and strong problem-solving skills are must-haves.
  • Agile development methodology experience is essential.
  • Experience with Static Code Analyzers and Unit testing framework is a necessity.
