IT Infrastructure Manager Position

The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of an organization's IT infrastructure. This involves defining and executing infrastructure strategies that align with business goals and scalability needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive infrastructure plans that drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage hybrid environments (e.g., Nutanix, cloud migrations) to ensure cost optimization and scalability.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards to protect sensitive data.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers and support staff; assign tasks, monitor performance, and enable growth.
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Design, implement, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Oversee proactive monitoring of systems and networks; resolve incidents quickly and efficiently.
  • Vendor & Budget Management: Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure cost-effective solutions.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed system/process documentation and prepare regular reports on infrastructure health and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or equivalent roles.
  • Proven expertise in network, systems, and cloud infrastructure management.

  • Strong knowledge of servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and project management abilities.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and service delivery frameworks.
