US Tax Associate Job Description

Our company provides assurance, tax, and consulting services to diverse clients. We offer a tailored approach that sets us apart in the industry.

We are seeking a highly motivated US Tax Associate to join our team. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for tax compliance, preparation, and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare personal, corporate, and trust income tax returns along with other tax elections.
  • Apply provisions of tax treaties to cross-border tax transactions.
  • Assist with sales tax filings and registrations.
  • Collaborate closely with partners and senior staff to develop and implement effective strategies and client tax planning assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in preparing/and or reviewing 1040 personal income tax returns and 1120 corporate income tax returns.
  • Public accounting experience (preferably in tax).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

To succeed in this role, you must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
