This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Subject matter expertise in trade finance operations, including letter of credits.
  • Day-to-day activities for LC issuance, documentation, and amendments.
  • Letter of Credit updates and reconciliations/book fees.
  • Familiarity with ICC rules, such as UCP600, ISBP821, INCOTERMS2020, and URR725.
  • Ability to handle complex Letters of Credit, including Transferable LCs, Back-to-Back LCs, and Commodity LCs.
  • Strong understanding of the complete Letters of Credit cycle and the roles of various banks involved.
  • Analysis and review of LC applications, ensuring compliance with ICC guidelines and internal policies.
  • Issuance of Reimbursement Authorization (RA) and Reimbursement Undertaking (RU).
  • Sound understanding of SWIFT message types, such as MT700, MT710, MT720, MT730, MT740, MT742, MT747, MT754, MT202, MT103, and associated fields.
  • Awareness of Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-BOYCOTT regulations/Clues and ability to identify reflags in LCs and LC applications.

Required Background:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of Syndicated Loan Operations, Letter of Credits, and Trade Finance Operations.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in commerce.
  • Ability to multi-task independently under tight timelines and maintain attention to detail.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in Trade Finance Operations.

Salary Estimate: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
