Financial Analyst Position

About Our Investment Firm:

The managing partner worked at two renowned multi-billion-dollar hedge funds in New York as an investment analyst from 2005 until 2012.

We apply the principles of stock selection practiced at top global hedge funds to the Indian equity market. Our strategy is rooted in fundamental research, with investment decisions based on a medium to long-term outlook on the stock and sector.

Our team seeks out misunderstood situations and abnormal stock movements, conducting in-depth valuations on what is priced in and how it is likely to change.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct financial modeling, analysis, and form an investment thesis on the sector.
  • Track down and analyze industry/company data points available in the public domain.
  • Making presentations and presenting convincing ideas to the team.
  • Assisting with administrative responsibilities shared by all team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A keen interest in capital markets.
  • Ability to understand businesses and sectors.
  • Strong skills in financial modeling, income statements-balance sheet-cash flows, and company valuation.
  • Prior experience building operating and financial models of companies and industries.
  • Familiarity with basic equity valuation principles.
  • Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Detailed-oriented approach to work.
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience (sell-side or buy-side experience preferred).
