Job Title: Wireless System Test and QA Lead

Astrome Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Wireless System Test and QA Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans for our wireless communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our wireless systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document software defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
  • Design and implement automated test cases to improve test efficiency and reduce customer-found defects.
  • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on feature design and identify potential gaps.
  • Train and mentor test engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in testing wireless communication systems, with a focus on RF/microwave testing.
  • Strong understanding of communication theory, digital communication systems, and wireless-related metrics.
  • Experience with test and measurement lab equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or LabVIEW.
