Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to manage our AR accountabilities, including cash allocation, reconciliation, and query management.

  • Manage the validation of data sets related to policies, endorsements, and claims to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Supervise the transition of legacy data entry and ensure smooth integration with financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the loading, validation, and reconciliation of bordereaux, FIRA, and GRUVA reports within accounting and broker systems.
  • Responsible for client and broker relationship management, resolving queries raised by the credit control team and technical accounting team.
  • Deal with underwriters, brokers, customers, and respond to their queries regarding payments, commission, or debt.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of credit control and cash allocation principles.
  • Experience in technical accounting, bordereaux management, payment allocation, and reconciliation.
  • Good understanding of insurance finance and accounts concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the London market is mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Good grasp of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good decision-making and analytical skills.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in accounts receivable/finance and accounting (preferably cash and collection).
  • At least 3-5 years of team handling experience on paper records.
