Job Title: Senior Database Administrator

This is a high-profile role that involves designing and implementing database solutions to meet the needs of our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and managing scalable database structures, schemas, indexes, and views. They will also be expected to optimize performance across various SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL environments.

Additional responsibilities include implementing and enforcing security, access controls, and compliance measures. The DBA will design and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies, as well as configure and manage high availability.

A strong understanding of automation scripting and database monitoring tools is essential. Experience with cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS) and NoSQL platforms (MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.

  • Design and implement database solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Optimize database performance across multiple environments.
  • Implement and enforce security and compliance measures.
  • Maintain high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Automate operations using scripting tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 7-10+ years of experience as a DBA in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Strong skills in query optimization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Proven experience with high availability, replication, and disaster recovery.
  • Proficiency in automation scripting and database monitoring tools.
  • Experience with cloud databases and NoSQL platforms.
