Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biostatistician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for supervising biostatisticians, associate biostatisticians, and SAS programmers on clinical research studies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical methodology, including experience with methodological statistical research, publication, and presentation of work in statistical methods development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Biostatisticians and SAS Programmers: Oversee the work of biostatisticians, associate biostatisticians, and SAS programmers on clinical research studies.
  • Provide Expert Consultation: Provide expert consultation to projects across the company on statistical methodology.
  • Solve Complex Statistical Problems: Solve problems of complex statistical scope.
  • Review Statistical Designs: Provide technical review of proposed statistical design for research studies across company.
  • Lead Study Projects: Serve as the lead Biostatistician on one or more study projects.
  • Develop Statistical Processes: Participate in statistical process development and improvement across company.
  • Presentation Skills: May present at statistical conferences.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Masters or PhD Degree: MS in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology or related field.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of related experience with MS or 1 year of related experience with PhD is expected but not required.
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in SAS and/or R.
  • Data Manipulation: Expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills.
  • Task Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
