Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure RESTful APIs using .NET Core.

Key Responsibilities:

  • API Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core-based Web APIs, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and performant.
  • RESTful API Principles: Implement RESTful API principles and best practices to create clean, maintainable, and high-quality APIs.
  • API Security: Ensure robust API security practices, including authentication, authorization, data encryption, and protection against common security vulnerabilities.
  • Scalability and Performance: Focus on optimizing API performance and ensuring scalability to handle increased load efficiently.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend developers, QA, DevOps, product managers) to identify, prioritize, and deliver API requirements.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Implement unit tests, integration tests, and automated deployment scripts to ensure high code quality and continuous delivery.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve any technical issues related to the API codebase, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Code Reviews & Standards: Participate in code reviews, promote adherence to coding standards, and encourage best practices among the development team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in .NET Core development, with a strong focus on building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of API security, performance optimization, and scalability best practices.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with version control systems like Git, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and SQL and NoSQL databases for API integration.
  • Aptitude: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
